FAQ
FAQ
Put simply, Heartspace has two parts: the chest strap and the app. The chest strap measures your heart rate variability (HRV.) The Heartspace app takes you through a breathing exercise and displays your HRV in real time. By following along with the guided breathing exercise you will see your HRV rise in the moment. When this exercise is done daily you will see a sustained increase in your overall HRV.
Will it help me fall asleep?
Yes. Increasing your HRV just before getting into bed has been shown to help individuals fall asleep sooner and spend more time in deep sleep.

Increasing your HRV with reasonance breathing
Your breath is a remote control to your heart and your nervous system. Resonance breathing, is a powerful technique where you breathe at a specific frequency to activate your “rest and digest” parasympathetic nervous system (PSN) and reach optimal relaxation. In this state you heart rate oscillates in time with the rhythm of you breath, maximising your heart rate variability.
Heartspace’s guidance and live biofeedback help you to make lasting increases to your heart rate variability.

I love that it gives me a benchmark and track how I am improving my breath and lung function as well as meditation.
My favourite new addition to my mindfulness routine ✨
So happy to have received my heart space tracker before mother's day. I've been using mine each morning and have been feeling lighter, happier and less stressed. The app is great to keep you accountable and to assist with the breathwork techniques! Recommend for all!
You can see the little red dot show up on the screen as you feel the thud of each heartbeat. I have tried using my garmin watch in the past, then my garmin chest strap, but nothing gives the same detail on your heart rate variability like this monitor and the app.
Hi
As a functional breathing coach I was happy with the function of your device and likes how I can track the heart rate and HRV.
However, from a practitioners point of view, if you have a client who bought your device who has a dysfunctional breathing pattern and was over breathing beyond the normal amount, then slowing the breath with out the appropriate training could bring feelings of suffocation, air hunger and panic/anxiety. This could work against you as the motivation to continue the use could diminish.
If you would like more information about functional breath retraining I will be happy to share this with you. This may be an additional product which would be added to your device to help people develop train the breath so they can tolerate the slower breathing pattern.
Cheers
